Game Review
Bournemouth secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium in their Premier League clash on Saturday. The result was somewhat unexpected given Wolves' home advantage, but Bournemouth's clinical performance ensured they took all three points. The match's key moments came courtesy of Bournemouth's attacking prowess. Eli Junior Kroupi (GAP +1.3%) opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Wolves. The visitors sealed the win in the 90th minute when Alex Scott (GAP -1.0%) found the back of the net, ensuring Bournemouth's triumph. Tactically, Bournemouth's unchanged lineup from their previous match paid dividends, with Adam Smith (GAP +1.1%) and Marcos Senesi (GAP +0.6%) providing stability at the back. In contrast, Wolverhampton made three changes, introducing Tolu Arokodare, Emmanuel Agbadou, and Rodrigo Gomes into the starting eleven. The reasons for these changes were not explicitly stated in post-match reports, but it was a clear attempt by the home side to inject fresh energy into the squad. Bournemouth's standout performer was Eli Junior Kroupi, whose goal and overall contribution were pivotal. Meanwhile, Wolverhampton's Hwang Hee-chan (GAP -2.3%) struggled to make an impact, reflecting the team's overall difficulties in breaking down Bournemouth's defense. This victory lifts Bournemouth further away from the relegation zone, providing a much-needed boost in their quest for Premier League survival. For Wolverhampton, the defeat is a setback as they aim to climb the table, and they will need to regroup quickly to avoid slipping further down the standings.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
